  4. What you really need to know! The precisionor exactness of a measurement depends on the unit of measure. The precision unitis the smallest unit on a measuring tool.

  5. What you really need to know! Significant digitsinclude all of the digits of a measurement that you know for sure, plus one estimated digit.
