Aims of this session • To build parent/carers confidence in being able to support your child's learning in both maths and numeracy at home. • To highlight ways you can help and extend your child’s learning at first level. • To share with you some of the maths that your child is learning at first level (P2-P4).
First level maths and numeracy • Various experiences andoutcomes, some of which are being covered by my colleagues. • Includes topic maths such as measure, time, money, shape, as well as a general understanding of number. • This session will suggest a few strategies and resources to support your child’s learning and understanding of time, money and number.
