  3. He chastens and hastens His will to make known.

  4. The wicked oppressing, now cease from distressing

  5. Sing praises to His name; He forgets not his own.

  6. Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining, mf = medium loud

  7. Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine.

  8. So from the beginning, the fight we were winning.

  9. Thou, Lord wast at our side; all glory be Thine.

  10. We all do extol Thee, Thou leader triumphant. f = loud

  11. And pray that Thou still our defender wilt be.

  12. Let Thy congregation escape tribulation.

  13. Thy name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free!
