Benefits Statement • Major Library Industry Consultancy Focused on ERAMS “An independent industry consultancy has validated workflow efficiency gains and staffing levels for a major ARL library where the management tools are supported by a centralized, authoritative knowledgebase from a company whose core competency is the maintenance of the knowledgebase and where the discovery tools are integrated into the management tools. In this instance, the library used Serials Solutions 360 services. They have eliminated duplication of work, especially in the maintenance of a single knowledgebase to support both library management and patron discovery tools”.
Benefits Statement • Major ARL Library Confirmation The ARL library has noted that the validation included a point that without using the Serials Solutions services, the current staff would not be able to manage the number of e-resource effectively. Without the services, the library would have to either increase staff devoted to e-resources or cut the number of e-resources if staffing levels remained the same to continue to offer quality service to patrons. (emphasis is mine)
