Conclusions • Studieslooking at theeffects of electromagneticfields in rodents so far didnotindicate an increasedriskforvariouscancers, even at levels well abovetherecommendedexposure limits. • Chronicexposure of AKR/J or normal mice (in a multigeneration study) revealed no adverseeffects on healthordevelopment at rather high SAR values. • Althoughanimalstudiesarelimitedwithrespect to humans, theyaddweight on thegeneralconclusionthat cancerogenic effects of EMF arehighlyunlikely.
