  2. to form progressive ending • start with __________ • drop –___________ • add • _______ (ar) • _______(er/ir) • _______ (-er & –ir verbs with stem ending in vowel (leer, creer, oír, traer etc.)

  4. DOP progressive • When you use the progressive tensesthe DOP may be attached to the end of the gerundio(-ando/-iendo) and an accent placed on the 3rd to the last syllable. Ejemplo: Tú estás comiendolas cerezas. Tú estáscomiéndolas. *accent needed (ándo/iéndo/yéndo)
