Mental Factor- Negative • In badminton decision making is important when deciding what shot to play, and when to play the shot. In a match you will make lots of these decisions, if you consistently choose the wrong decision then this will have a negative effect on your performance.
Emotional Factor- Negative • In basketball it is important to control your level of arousal if you become too aroused during the match your performance will be affected in a negative way. Keeping your level of arousal at the correct level will allow you to stay focused on the task in hand.
Social Factor- Positive • In rugby organisation is important to allow you to be in the correct position during the match. If you are in the correct position you will be able to receive and off load passes during the match with success.
Physical Factor- Positive • In football CRE is important to allow you to move around the pitch quickly and effectively for the full duration (90 mins) of the match. By having good CRE you are more likely to be in the correct place throughout the match when defending or attacking.
