  2. Chapter After graduation, alumni don’t keep in touch with the chapter Without alumni presence, there can be a disconnect with chapter history and tradition, which will weaken a chapter. Alumni After graduation, my chapter does not include me on regular emails I moved away from school. Distance has disconnected me from me chapter. Alumni DevelopmentPutting issues in Perspective

Alumni Development Social Media • First Steps • Become active on the AZ website • Begin a Chapter FB page • Embrace new social media trends (Twitter, flickr… etc) • Second Steps • Transition of Administrators with elections • Expansion of Database • Formal invitations for alumni speakers • Email blasts to invite to banquets, initiation…etc

  5. Alumni DevelopmentKey success points • Keep regular communication on the sites that you join. • Make announcements about meetings, volunteer opportunities, various activities, member/alumni profiles • Build the network • Keep track members through education and career • Your suggestions?

Chapter We have more to offer our active members now that we have alumni involvement We are able to carry on our chapter traditions and history with alumni involvement through the years Alumni With regular updates, I feel more connected with my chapter, and want to become involved.
