  5. We have all seen ‘Moments of Truth’ • What impact have the Club officers on that? • …and specifically the VP Education? What makes a successful club?

  6. What value is there in creating an agenda? • It’s a mechanical task • We should be able to take it for granted • A quick show of hands – how many of you are, or have been VPE for a Club? • On average, how much time do/did you spend each meeting? An outstanding VPE

  7. Typing the agenda • Assigning roles for the meeting • Telling the members their role for the meeting • Dealing with cancellations • Tracking who wants to speak – fair shares • … • Is that all you have time for? Value added time for the VPE?

Assign speeches to meet personal objectives • Assign roles to complete CLs • Keep all the members interested/challenged • Helpful words for first-time in a role • Keep a varied program • Spotting the member who’s losing interest • Closing the ‘10 speeches – done it’ gap • … Value added time for the VPE?
