Partner Involvement in Club Events • This fall, a few club leaders have asked me: “Is it ok for partners to participate in our club events?” • Thoughts? Different for Career vs. Cultural vs. General Interest clubs?

Can Clubs Help Inform & Answer Questions About Spring Classes? • Proposal: • Each functional area club hold an info session about the electives available for the Spring • Have second years/alumni there to talk about the benefits of each of the electives • An opportunity for students to ask questions and make more informed decisions on classes • Hold these info sessions between now and Nov. 4th/19th and/or include them as part of an already scheduled meeting • Questions? Other thoughts?
Ethics and Career Clubs • Some ethical issues are industry specific • Important for students to have an understanding of specific issues within each field • Honor Council would like to help sponsor club speakers/events that involve a discussion of ethical issues within each field
GTA Needs Money • GTA has a $500 budget from GBA • Van rental for West Coast Trek is ~$600 • Canceled Atlanta Trek due to no $$ • Classes – Pizza & Soda • Interactive marketing – GMA is paying • Healthcare class ~$50 splitting with HCC • Visio Class ~$75 • Real world sessions – Pizza and Soda • Product management session ~$50 • Real world CEO Dinners – GTA subsidize meal • Pay for executives dinner, and keep student prices low • GTA needs a minimum of additional $400.
Reimbursements • New Process with PeopleSoft system • Check the Leadership Conference for my email • Currently get cash reimbursements up to $300 • For a limited time only! • Will be posting more information on event planning • Approved Vendor List • Process for getting a check cut in advance of an event (only for large expenses - i.e. Semiformal) • Spring Budget Day (tentatively early December)
