Your tasks for the introductory course • (1) Scientific paper • select one of the proposed papers • get the original paper • read the paper (and ev. related sources) • 5 minute presentation (max of five slides; EN) • write a two-page summary (incl. key figures and tables) • (2) Related environmental and socio-cultural topics • select one of the proposed topics • compile information about that topic from various sources • 4 minute presentation (max of five slides; EN) • write a two-page summary (incl. key figures and tables) • (3) Written summary of scientific and of other topic (in EN or DE) • About / Data & methods used / Main results / Outlook (1 page) • Key figure & table (1 page) • Use WORD template for your summary!
