  2. KIO Asia Pacific Pte Ltd KIO Asia Pacific aims to provide affordable and environmentally friendly construction solutions. Our buildings are both aesthetically pleasing and of high quality. The firm is able to offer great structures through the combined use of unique building materials and technology. With this specialized technology, KIO is able to rapidly construct beautiful affordable buildings. KIO Asia Pacific is a Sri Lankan – UK joint-venture which began with the objective of bringing panelized method of construction to the marketplace and demonstrating its use in low cost housing in 2007. We believe that KIO’s prefabricated building materials are of special interest to the developing world markets. This presentation introduces our KIO Oanel technology, its application, as well as its advantages to a construction market such as Sri Lanka’s.

KIO Panels are made of: • Foam: High density EPS foam OR Biodegradable cornstarch foam • Welded wire mesh: • Wire mesh is combined together with the foam core • Warren Truss: Precisely positioned warren trusses, securing the wire mesh in place and making the KIO Panel a structural solution. • Biomass option:The panels cores can also be fabricated with a core of 100% locally-harvested bio-mass • Construction with KIO Panels: • Panels are erected on site, and then coated with concrete skins on both sides • Shot-crete application suggested The Product Solution

  4. Energy Efficient- Fire Resistant KIO Panels exceed the R-40 performance standard for insulation, nearly four times that of conventional construction. Our panels would provide residential and commercial structures with the ability to severely reduce their cooling needs. In an environment such as present in Sri Lanka, commercial real estate with high cooling needs such as cool-houses, fishery storages and ice-fabrication would benefit highly of using KIO Panels. At the same time KIO Panels have, when covered with concrete, a fire rating of 90 minutes to four hours.

No Rot, Mold, or Pests Strength to Weight Ratio KIO panels integrate well with other building systems. KIO panels are an engineered product, easily adaptable to architectural and engineering drawings.
