  9. GCE ‘O’ levels 2012 TODAY 11 Jan 2013 – RaeesaMohamadIlyas Raeesa rose up to the challenge of looking after her sick grandmother, juggled her duties as Student Councillor, Choir Disciplinarian and her studies. She scored 4 As with 14 points and got a place in Jurong Junior College.

Admission to Polytechnic • To be eligible for consideration for admission to the various courses in the Polytechnic, applicants must obtain 26 points or better for the net ELR2B2 aggregate score (i.e. English Language, 2 relevant subjects and best 2 other subjects including CCA Bonus Points) and meet the minimum entry requirements of the respective courses in the Polytechnics. • CCA Bonus points are given to students in the computation of their net aggregates. They are not taken into consideration in determining whether applicants are eligible for specific courses.
