Chemical Toxicity and Our Health Check out the President’s Cancer Report: https://deainfo.nci.nih.gov/advisory/pcp/annualreports/pcp08-09rpt/pcp_report_08-09_508.pdf
The Change Loudoun Project is dedicated to creating awareness to the massive environmental and human health crisis that is taking place in our homes, our business and our schools, and to offer safe, sustainable, and cost- effective solutions.
Our Goal: To impact 1% of the homeowners of Loudoun over the next two years, through education and awareness programs demonstrating the huge physical and financial costs of environmental toxicity and offering new, sustainable, cost effective technology that can reduce or replace the use of plastic containers and dangerous household chemicals. Why is it important? Almost every chronic disease is impacted by environmentaltoxicity, most of which is created by the chemical and plastic industries.
Are we are in the midst of a Massive HEALTH CRISIS?
United Nations Worldwide Life Expectancy 2005-2010, revised in May 2011 Cuba is #37 USA is #40 Japan is #1
In Fact… The CANCER rate in America is 50% of ALL males, and… 33% of ALL females will get cancer in their lifetime ! Cancer is the #1 cause of death of children under the age of 14 The cancer rate for dogs is now 1 in 1.6
Are we are in the midst of a Massive ENVIRONMENTAL CRISIS?
We Live in a World of Chemicals and Plastic Industrial discharges to our waterways Industrial and vehicle emissions to our air Limited availability of clean water Household cleaners and other products Heavy use of pesticides Throw-away plastic problem
90% of children that are poisoned in the U.S. are poisoned at home. • Usually from household chemicals. • Low levels of exposure are creating an epidemic of childhood food allergies, asthma, obesity, diabetes, and learning disabilities.
Household cleaning products are as bad for lung function as smoking, a new study has shown. • Women who regularly use cleaning chemicals • Were found to have lung decline equivalent to smoking 20 cigarettes a day • Were also 40% more likely to develop asthma. • Research on more than 6,000 women and men over 20 years. http://healthmedicinet.com/i/cleaning-as-bad-for-womens-lungs-as-20-cigarettes-a-day/
For Example: • There are over 100,000 man-made chemicals. • Tests Find More Than 200 Chemicals in Newborn Umbilical Cord Blood * • Babies are being born toxic. • The accumulation of theseman-made chemicalsweakens our immune systems • 93% of Americans have BPA in their bodies* * Scientific American
Health care costs related to household chemicals cost $340 billion, per year, or 2.33% of GDP, in the U.S. and the loss of over 11 million IQ points* Linked to obesity, intellectual disabilities, diabetes, autism and heart disease.* *TIME HEALTH and The Lancet
Toxic exposures may cost the world 10% of GDP: The cost of harmful chemical and heavy metal exposures around the world likely tops 10 percent of the global GDP, according to a new study, published 12/06/17 in the journal Environmental Health, finds that current calculations of harmful exposures underestimate the total costs. 2016 GDP was $75 Trillion- World Bank
I BELIEVE That chemical toxicity in our lives, is part of a huge public health problem. By making just a few simple changes, we can profoundly change our Health!
Simple Changes can make a huge difference • Say no to plastic • Replace toxic cleaners • Reusable Water Containers • Reusable shopping Bags • Biodegradable Packaging • Avoid pesticides • Vote with your wallet

Say Good by to: • Bleach Products • Laundry Detergent • Window cleaners • Disinfectant spray • Fabric stain remover • and the plastic bottles they come in • Bottled Water • Soda drinks • Sports drinks • Floor cleaner • Vegetable wash • General cleaning spray… and more.
Disruptive Technology • ----- Dramatically Safer • ----- Much more effective • ----- Lower Cost
