Team Alan, Sebastian, Bruce, Jonathan, Medrano … • Good narration, story telling… • Use key words / phrases instead of complete sentences • Good Gantt chart only goes out to Oct 22nd • Good discussion on “methods to success” • Strong budget presenters • Font too small on slides(WHAT DATA THE TEAM GAINED, VARIABLE AND EFFECTS, INITIAL DESIGN, FRDPARRC, etc…) • BASIC CAR PERFORMANCE AND VARIATIONS: put charts or summarize information in a way that the audience can compare data • Comprehensive risk analysis and before and after comparison (Bruces – take hands our of pocket and point to slides) • Any testing results? • Good job!
Team Robert, Jesse, Hoang, Marvin, Gerardo • 5G 2C: cool name • Font too small (Pert Chart – use critical/noncritical instead of important/nonimportant), (Gantt Chart), … What is the solution? • Good calculation on alignment/distance and conclusions • Distance car: 180 meters = 590 ft! You meant 180 ft? • Expand risk matrix, also remember to include risks associated with project timeline/resources • Good presentation/presenters
Team Sam, Yate, Eddie, Juliet, Stefan, Bryan • Good organization, attire • Handing off between presenters • Eddie, Stefan, Sam, : try to present without notes • Good analysis on Design Parameters – • Speed/Distance Car Design Slide • Formatting/text out of place • make tables to show the tradeoff among your choices • Pert chart: font too small, duration is missing • Gantt chart: use laser pointer? • FRDPARRC sheet: font too small, key words/phrases instead of complete sentences • Good progress on risk identification/mitigation. • Risk statement’s format is: issue leading to consequences • Good discussion on Formulas, more effective if data is included
Team Carlos, Zac, Kevin, Aaron, Edwin, Brandon • KISS: good name but remember to mention it as an engineering design principle that you apply to your designs? • Font too small. Legend needed for Pert Chart • Sketch too small to see • Great discussion analysis of effects of parameters and use of engineering principles (e.g., mechanical advantage) • Good efforts, organization, and collaboration, and progress on both cars
