  2. Características de los trasmallos (redes agalleras) utilizadas en el Golfo de Nicoya, Costa Rica.

  4. Especies capturadas • Peces: 66 especies, principalmente corvinas, pargos, robalos, roncadores, bagres, jureles, macarela, algunos atunes costeros. • Crustáceos: dos especies de camarón, una de langosta y una de cangrejo

  5. Embarcaciones Se utilizan principalmente las denominadas artesanal pequeña y mediana, que son embarcaciones tipo bote, pangas, con motor fuera de borda, o lanchas (botes) con motor interno a Diesel, con autonomía de uno a ocho días, utilizan hielo para mantener el producto, y en su mayoría el producto se destina para el consumo local.
