  11. Yanomami background • Amazonerainforest, between Venezuela and Brazil • Villages contain between 50 to 400 people • They live in a common roof called shabono • Polygenic • Only about 20.000 indigenous survive

  19. Korowai culture • Language • They don’t have a language per se • Imitate the sounds of birds • Way of life • Tree houses • Escape from mosquitoes and other tribes’ attacks • Clans of 10- 12 people
