  2. Overview • Campus Computing Services, a division of OIT, provides free and fee-based computing resources and support for faculty, staff and students at Rutgers University. • This presentation will concentrate on services that may be of interest to researchers.

  9. OIT Managed Services • Anti-virus checking of email • Rutgers Anti-virus Delivery Service • “Free” desktop anti-virus software for Windows and Macintosh • Centrally maintained and updated • Licensed for office and home use • Data backup services (fee & free)

  10. OIT Managed Services • Windows desktop management • Coming in 2006 • Centrally managed updates to Windows and Office applications • Free LAN security analysis • Fee-based firewall implementation and management
