While the Internet is the most pervasive and recent of all global communication solutions, other older systems such as international mail and telephony have also played a huge role in bringing the world together, like the press (magazines, newspapers, radio, television, (...)).

The Internet Newspaper, book and other print publishing are adapting to Web site technology, or are reshaped into blogging and web feeds. The Internet has enabled or accelerated new forms of human interactions through instant messaging, Internet forums, and social networking.
The Internet • The pros of using Internet in today’s society: • You can have freedom to view whatever content you want because have much information that you can access quicker; • When you’re bored, it comes in handy for keeping you occupied; • It helps you to find much information that you want for school works, research, things that you like, etc.
