  1. Pediatrician Jasmine hall

  2. WHY PEDIATRICIAN?? • I WOULD LIKE TO BE A PEDIATRICIAN BECAUSE I LOVE HELPING CHILDREN • I DON’T LIKE TO SEE ANYONE SICK. • I WANT TO SEE A HEALTHY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD AND I WONT TO BE APART OF THAT HAPPINESS AND CAN I SAY I HELPED

  3. THE BASICS • A Bachelor's Degree, followed by a Medical degree and internship, with specialization in pediatrics. • You need to be able to stand in front of someone who might be bleeding or is missing a limb and not feel the need to throw up is what I think. You also need your M.D., with a specialty in pediatrics, along with whatever internship and residency requirements your school imposes.

  4. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • 4 years medical school • 4 years college • 3 years of residency • = 11 years (after high school).

  5. HIGH SCHOOL COURSES THAT’S REQUIRED • this is where it really begins. Classes: Basic Sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, calculus if possible).Humanities (English, a foreign language - we'd recommend Spanish)Get involved in high school charity organizations, like the Key Club, and extracurricular programs like student government, music programs, and sports.Plan to get into the best 4-year college your grades allow. The better (and thus the harder) the more likely you are to get into medical school. It generally doesn't matter whether it is a big school or small school - just a good school.

  6. MINIMUM DEGREE REQUIRED • An MD or DO, a medical degree. Pediatricians are doctors.

  7. MONETARY COMPENSATION/PAY

  8. WHAT HAVE I LEARNED? • THIS YEAR I LEARNED A LOT OF THINGS LIKE: • BLOOD TYPE • RESPIRATION • AND THINGS CONCERNING PEOPLE HEALTH
