National Essay Competition • Open to all Law Students (LLB and JD) • 3 000 to 12 000 word essay on any legal issue • Marked by a prominent academic or legal professional • December 2011 • 15th– Marketing for NEC • to be completed • January 2011 • Markers for NEC to be confirmed • March 2012 • 1st – NEC submission open • April 2012 • 1st – NEC submissions close • 1st - 15th – Marking of NEC submissions
