“Happiness”

1. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Ps. 34:18

2. “Happiness” • Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. It is of such fundamental importance to the human condition that “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" were deemed to be unalienable rights by the United States Declaration of Independence.
