Are you always in a hurry, even when not under pressure? Are you trying to do more than 1 thing at a time, already thinking of the next task? Do you hold your feelings in? Do you manage your family, work, community and self needs effectively? Are you continually irritable and distracted? Do you have ongoing physical complaints? Are you demotivated and neglect responsibility?
TRAUMA Trauma occurs when a sudden, extraordinary, external event overwhelms an individual’s capacity to cope and master the feelings aroused by the event. L C Terr, 1991 WORK TRAUMA Work Trauma refers to all instances where one or more persons feel subjected, over a period of time, to unfair prolonged, conscious, calculated behavior from another person (s) affecting the victim’s dignity and/or health and/or safety and/or career prospects and/or happiness in a situation where the victim is unable to defend themselves and to affect any change.
