Why Is Emily Poetry Significant? • Because of her unusual life • self imposed social seclusion. • Lived a life of simplicity • her different lifestyle created an aura; often romanticized • She question the nature of immortality and death

Structure • There is only six lines in this one stanza poem • In this poem every lines first word has something to do with it other - Water to land • Peace to love
Language • Alliteration- by memorial mold • Vocabulary • Transport: ecstasy; rapture • Throe: spasm or pang of pain • Memorial Mold: memorial grounds or cemetery
Theme • Is you have to go through something to get somewhere • It may seem hard but it will work out in the end
