Physiotherapy • Occupational • Speech Therapy • Conductive education • Massage Therapy Types of Interpersonal Therapy
Physiotherapy is used to help cerebral palsy patients improve movement and motor skills. Physiotherapy impairs the brain's ability to properly control muscle movement, physiotherapy can do wonders in helping cerebral palsy patients gain mobility. Physiotherapy
Occupational Therapy (OP) enables individuals with cerebral palsy to participate in activities of daily living that are meaningful to them. OP may address issues relating to sensory, cognitive, or motor impairments resulting from CP that affect the child's participation in self-care, productivity, or leisure. Occupational Therapy
A Speech Therapy helps the patient correct speech disorders, restore speech, use communication aids, learn sign language, and improve listening skills. Speech therapy is performed by a speech pathologist, and involves regular meetings with the therapist in a one-on-one or group setting, as well as home exercises. Speech Therapy
Conductive Education teach the body to move by way of appropriate teaching methods and repetition. Therapy is integrated with the tasks of daily living, allowing for maximum opportunities to practice the movement and strengthen the new neural pathways. Conductive Education
Massage therapy is applied in a painless and comforting way to treat, heal and balance the mind, body and soul. Those pursuing massage do so as a complement to conventional medicine, as an alternative intervention, or for well-being.
