  1. CLIQ Web Manager Tools for correct managing of big systems (November 2012)

  2. Basic use of a CLIQ system • Access rights in keys • Use keyed-alike Quartz+ keys • Program all cylinders to accept all keys A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 A6 A7 A8 A9 A1A3 A5 A6 A7 A8 A9 A1A3 A7 A8

  3. Tools for the Management of Large Systems • Inconvenient administration due to long access lists • Limitation in number of cylinders that a key can access (due to limited Access List size in key) • Inconvenient to handle each key separately • May not want all administrators to manager all cylinders (convenience & security) Solved by: Cylinder Groups, Access Profiles Solved by: Cylinder Groups Solved by: Access Profiles, Schedule Templates Solved by: Domains

  4. Domains Available from V2.8

  5. What are domains? • Domains = Administrative ’Regions’ Domain #3 A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 A6 A7 A8 A9 A10 A11 A12 A13 A14 A15 Domain #2 Admin #1 Domain #1 Admin #2

  6. Domains • Domains control what cylinders an administrator can see, manage and give access to • Each administrator has access to one or more domains • Each cylinder can be in only one domain • All cylinders are initially in the default domain • Moving cylinders between domains does not require re-programming of cylinders

  7. Access Profiles Available from V2.8

  8. What are Access Profiles? • Access Profiles are named access lists the can be assiciated with: Access Profile #1 A1A3 A5 A6 A7 A8 A9 • Keys • Employees / visitors Access Profile #2 A1A4 A6 A7 A9

  9. Access Profiles - benefits • Simple management of access for multiple persons • The access is typically based on roles: • A person can have one or more role in the organization • Each role has certain access rights • When an access profile is changed, key update tasks are automatically created

  10. Access Profiles and Domains • An access profile belongs to a Domain • Only access to cylinders in that domain may be added in the profile • Domains can be considered as ”islands”, containing cylinder s and access profiles A1 A2 A3 A4 A6 A5 A8 A9 A10 A11 A12 A7 Domain #1 Domain #2 Access Profile #1 A1 A3 A8 A5 A9 Access Profile #2 A2 A7 A10 A11 A12 Access Profile #3 A1 A3 A4 A6 A9

  11. Tags Available from V2.4

  12. What are tags? • Tags provide an additional possibility of grouping • Use tags in searches when performing operations • Example: #1 when adding cylinders in access profiles, search all cylinders that have a particular tag and select all • Example #2: associate an employee with all Access Profiles that have a particular tag • Tags can be used with: • Cylinders • Keys • Access Profiles • Employees / Visitors

  13. Schedule Templates Available from V2.4

  14. What are schedule templates? • Schedule templates are used when multiple keys get the same schedule • Schedule can be associated with keys • Weekly or customer schedule
