Middle East Region • Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Etihad have made Middle East the hub for East-West travel • Airports are developing to support hub traffic: • Hamad International Airport in Doha • New Mid-field Terminal in Abu Dhabi • Concourse D opening in Dubai • Al Maktoum International in DWC
Concourse A (3) – Opened in 2013 • Award winning retail operation of 8,000 square metres
Concourse A – Perfumes and Cosmetics • Centrally located large P and C offer for fastest growing category • Vendor Support program offers strong branding opportunities
Concourse A – Fashion • Gucci and Ferragamo, with Chanel and Hermes opening in the summer
Concourse A – Liquor & Tobacco • Creative use of large video wall and curved screens • Secondary circulation within the retail areas
Al Maktoum International Airport at DWC • Working with DACC Engineering Projects team • Part of team providing input for design brief for the retail areas in the new airport • Capacity of 135 million pax planned for 2020 • Two satellites and one terminal in Phase One • Will include 90,000 sq mts of retail space • Final passenger capacity of 265 million by 2035(?)
