How Trilobite Fossil Form: • First , a trilobite died , then mud and sand covered it. • Next , the trilobite soft parts went away and the hard parts remained. • Then , the sand and the hard parts of the trilobite turned to rock. • Last , after millions of years scientist found the trilobite fossil.
