FIMS Land Processing • Two data elements, Ownership and Acquisition Method, are currently needed to identify land records by ownership • This deviates from the other real property types which only need one (Ownership) • This leads to • Increasing difficulty in extracting land data from FIMS • Possible errors in reporting • Complicated processing • Inconsistencies within the database New FIMS Land Processing

Change Request 14-01 • Will streamline and standardize land processing • Simplifies data input • Simplifies queries and reporting • Eliminates a data element • Existing land records will be cross-walked • No additional effort by the Sites will be required • Has been FAC and FDDC Approved (01/2014) New FIMS Land Processing
