Facing a Bar First of all fix the bar in the chuck with the chuck key.
Facing a Bar To Face the end of this bar start by lowering the Safety Guard
Facing a Bar Now use the Saddle Wheel to move the tool closer to the workpiece
Facing a Bar Next use the Compound slide to move the toolpost in until it is ready to cut
Facing a Bar Now switch On the lathe
Facing a Bar Finally use the cross slide to pass the lathe tool across the face of the bar taking a fine even paced cut.
Facing a Bar Switch the Lathe Off
Facing a Bar Use the Saddle wheel to return the lathe tool to its original position then lift the guard.
