  3. Line:A moving point or mark in any direction. Line has Personality -

  4. Vertical Lines Vertical lines emphasize power, strength & height.

  5. Horizontal Lines Horizontal lines express stability, tranquility & width.

  6. Diagonal Line Diagonal lines show drama, dynamic energy & action.

  7. Curving Line Curving lines express softness, flow & sensuality.

  8. Line in the Environment

  9. Emphasis Placing special significance on a subject or element of design to develop a point of interest.

  10. Line Assignment Take a series of pictures that emphasize line in the environment. Select your best to turn in. 2 pictures should emphasize vertical lines. 2 pictures should emphasize horizontal line 2 pictures should emphasize diagonal lines. 2 pictures should emphasize curved lines. Remember that a focal point is important to your photograph.
