11. FORM A 3-dimensional object; or something in a 2-dimensional artwork that appears to be 3-dimensional. For example, a triangle, which is 2-dimensional, is a shape, but a pyramid, which is 3-dimensional, is a form. Lucien Freud Jean Arp

13. TEXTURE The surface quality or "feel" of an object, its smoothness, roughness, softness, etc. Textures may be actual or implied.

15. Creating a Mind Map • A diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea. • It is very similar to a bubble map, except it uses pictures!

16. Mind Maps are… • Mind maps that are well done can be works of art. • The images, words, and the way you create your mind map can be visually descriptive of your word or concept.
