  3. Hebrews 12:5-11 “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:”

  4. (6) For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. (7) If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?”

  5. (8) But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. (9) Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?”

  12. Ephesians 6:4 • admonition — training by words (Deut. 6:7; “catechise,” Proverbs 22:6, Margin), whether of encouragement, or objection, or reproof, according as is required • of the Lord — such as the Lord approves, and by His Spirit dictates

  16. Where Is The 1st Time In Bible We Read Parenting Principle? Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Mothers & fathers are to be preparing their children to leave home!
