Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 1 • Employ 3 intervention assistants to provide academic assistance in ELA and math to students.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 2 • Provide instructional materials to support balanced literacy. • Provide summer reading packs. • Employ a .5 teacher as an interventionist.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 3 • Employ a Math Coach to model lessons, observe lessons, provide feedback, etc… • Employ a .5 technology instructional coach to conduct professional development for teachers and teach model lessons. • Administer MAP assessment to 5K & 1st grade students. • Implement Imagine Learning, a computer based assisted instructional program.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 4 • All of the teachers at FPES are Highly Qualified.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 5 • Provide professional development to support school wide initiatives in the following areas: Counselors attend SC Counselors Conference, Traits Writing, and SC Title One Conference. • Work with 2 consultants to serve as coaches to strengthen instructional strategiesand provide substitutes to allow for a short coaching session. • Implement the use of data notebook to provide parents with student’s progress through student led conferences.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 6 • Funds for this strategy are provided through the district.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 7 • Parent workshops based information collected through the guidance survey. • Literacy celebration at the end of the year. • 5th grade parent involvement celebration. • Provide EveryDay Math study links and home links for parents. • Provide parent-school communications folders, notebooks and agendas.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 8 • No title one funds used for this strategy. The administration meets with 4k teachers and counselors at the end of the school. This helps place students for 5k.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 9 • Administer MAP, DIBELS Next, and Dominie to students and use the results to address classroom instruction. Funded through the district.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 10 • Provide instructional materials in ELA and Math to provide enrichment in order to provide differentiation in all grades. • Integrate technology into classroom instruction with the use of technology materials.
Title One Plan: Reform Strategy 11 • Encourage excellent student behavior by participating in Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. Incentives will be instructional in nature.
