Secure Print • Sending the Secured Document to the Machine • Set the “Secure Print”, “Password” and “Job Name” in the printing preferences dialog box of the printer driver. • Host-Based Driver“Advanced” tab  [Settings] of the “Secure Print” • BR-Script3 Printer Driver[Advanced]  “Printer Features” • Send the data to machine.

Secure Print • Printing the Secured Document • Press the [Secure/Direct] of your machine. • If the LCD displays “No Data Stored”, there is no secured data in the memory. • Press [] or [] to choose the user name. Press the [OK]. The LCD displays the secured jobs list for that name. • Press [] or [] to choose the job. Press the [OK]. • Enter your four-digit password and press the [OK]. • To print the data, press [] or [] to choose “Print”, press the [OK] and then enter the number of copies you want. Press the [OK]. The machine prints the data. • To delete the secured data, press [] or [] to choose “Delete”. Press the [OK]. After the documents are printed, the data will be cleared from the memory.

Push Scan Functions • Scan to Network • Documents can be scanned directly to CIFS server on your local network or on the internet • The Common Internet File System (CIFS), an enhanced version of Microsoft Server Message Block (SMB), is the standard way that computer users share files across intranets and the Internet • Setup for this function can be entered using Web Based Management to pre-configure and store the details in a Scan to Network profile

  43. Sending Functions • Broadcasting • Broadcasting lets you send the same fax message to more than one fax number • Including Groups, One-Touch, Speed-Dial numbers and up to 50 manually dialed numbers in the same broad cast • You can broadcast up to 390 different numbers

Sending Functions • Delayed Fax • You can store up to 50 faxes in the memory to be sent within a twenty four hour period • Before sending the delayed faxes, the bizhub 20 will help you economize by sorting all the faxes in the memory by destination and scheduled time • All delayed faxes that are scheduled to be sent at the same time to the same fax number will be sent as one fax to save transmission time

  45. Sending Functions • Redial • The bizhub 20 will automatically redial up to three times at five minute intervals if the receiving line is busy or due to a communication error

If you choose Backup Print “On”, the machine will also print the fax • You can also enter an Email address if the bizhub 20 has been configured for Internet Fax

Status Monitor • The Status Monitor utility provides immediate notification of error messages such as paper empty or paper jam The Status Monitor icon will change color depending on the machine status • A green icon indicates the normal stand-by condition • A yellow icon indicates a warning • A red icon indicates a printing error has occurred
