The object of this project is to: • compile information about what kinds of e-books are on the market • to establish under what basis eIFL countries might subscribe to e-books on a consortial basis
This entails: • A review of the major e-book suppliers of books in the Englishlanguage • A review of e-book developments in other languages • Explore e-book publishers' attitudes towards eIFL type arrangements
This entails: • A recommendation to the eIFL executive on which packages are likely to be of most use to IFL countries, to be based on a survey in eIFL countries • Participation in formulating a negotiating strategy for eIFLnet
