Monarch: All of England and it’s colonies belong to the King, but he relies on his advisors in the colonies to make rules Parliament: These people make the laws for England, but they had to be approved by the Monarch Assemblies: Each colony had an elected group of people that controlled raising and collecting taxes Town Meetings: Allowed people in a city to deal with local issues like schools, property tax, etc.
