What Your Teachers Believe. • All students can learn but each child learns differently. • Your education is the single most important asset you will acquire in a lifetime; therefore, each student deserves an opportunity to learn. • Each student is an active, valuable, capable, and responsible participant in his or her own learning.

What does a good student sound like? • Controls tone and volume of voice • Language is school appropriate • Uses positive manners – please/thank you • Demonstrates a “can do” attitude • Does not tease or use foolish jesting • Does not talk back or escalate difficult situations (Uses De-escalation Methods)

  16. Let’s Get To Know Each Other • Cards and Teams • Each of you will receive a face card • When Mrs. Wright gives the signal- you are to find the cards with the same value or run. Such as all the fours. • When you find your partners, find a seat together and wait for instructions.
