Should there be any trouble in the Wide Area Network, whether in the router or the WAN circuit, BellSouth is responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and upkeep, including patches, upgrades,configuration changes, replacement, or repair. Branch PVC's Headquarters PVC WAN Transport Services WAN Circuit & Router for branch traffic HQ & HUB Internet Circuit & Router WAN Bundles paid by Parish Library Internet bundle at Headquarters - paid by State Library Main Branch WAN Router BellSouth owns/maintains Main Branch Internet Router BellSouth owns/maintains Filter T1 - 45Mb T1 - 24Mb LAN Library-owned Filters & LAN gear • Parish Library: Files a 471 for Telecommunications - "WAN Bundles" • The WAN Bundles (WAN circuits, routers, administration, and maintenance) are owned and maintained by BellSouth. • Billing: The Parish Library will be billed for the WAN bundles in their parish. (For FY05-06, the State Library will reimburse.) • State Library: Files a 471 for "Internet Bundle" at Headquarters. • The Internet Bundle (Internet circuit, router, administration and maintenance) is owned and maintained by BellSouth. • Billing: The State Library will be billed for the Internet Bundle at the parish headquarters library.

Unbundled: Parish Library files 471 for WAN circuits only, and references State's 470 Option 2 "Unbundled" Remote Branch WAN Circuits - for access to headquarters B B B B B B B B B B B B WAN Transport only With Unbundled WAN services, BellSouth owns the WAN access circuit only. The WAN Routers are owned and maintained by the Parish Library. The Parish Library is responsible for router maintenance and upkeep, including patches, upgrades, configuration changes, repair, replacement, etc. Branch PVC's Headquarters PVC WAN Transport Services HQ & HUB Internet Circuit & Router WAN Circuit: for branch traffic WAN Circuits paid by Parish Library Internet bundle - at Headquarters paid by State Library Main Branch WAN Router Parish Library owns/maintains Main Branch Internet Router BellSouth owns/maintains.
