SiMon (flux monitoring) • 4 Silicon detectors: (under INFN responsibility) • At least 2 detectors heave a high leakage current after 9 years of operations • Preamp work well but shielding should be improved
C6D6 (capture) • Bicron (2 @CERN + 2 in Saclay) • Detector filling? • Response to γ-flash (seems OK but count loss above few hundreds keV)? • FZK (x2) • One detector broken (PM) -> Only one detector can still be used • Legnaro (x4) 2 more would be good • Need to make a mechanical support for these detectors • 1 detector at GELINA for testing • CERN allowance? (BC-537 replacement by BC-436 or BC-509)?
TAC (capture) • 40 crystals (12 pentagons, 28 hexagons ) + 2 spares ( 1 P, 1 H) • Spare PM? • Optical coupling should be checked (i.e. detector dismounting and remounting) contact person; R. Reifarth • Voltage divider should be improved (noise and 600 ns rebound): A. Masi • Ball closing (alignment of each detector, 2 hemisphere support matching)?
µMGAS (varii) • New 2D seems to work nicely. Better electronic reading should be investigated (Saclay action) • 6 small (3 cm diam.)are no longer used (monitoring in 2009 and fission tagging in 2010) • 16 big (10 cm diam.) detector dimensions (mainly 50 µm mesh thickness) • 25 µm mesh thickness do not work properly (too high capacitance or too short amplification distance) • Detector behavior after 2 years in front of Pu240 samples? • 1 chamber and 6 detectors at Sevilla • 12 FTMG • 1 proto without copper inside (in construction) • 3 preamp modules (16 channels each) • Some channels should be repaired (suffer from some spark) • Well suited for fission, but gain should be adjusted for lcp detection • Better preamp shielding should be investigated
PPAC (fission) • Managed by IPN Orsay/ USC collaboration
FIC (fission) • 3 chambers used in the past • 1 chamber contaminated (was it send to final disposal or still at CERN?) • Chambers store in the “grillage” • No idea about detectors and associated electronics
Diamond (n,lcp) • Christina’s and Erich’s business
