Who is “Nobody”- A Toronto West initiative • Nobody is a doll which gains character as it goes from NOBODY to SOMEBODY. • Children add creative attachments to the doll with each project they complete. • Children take pride in the accomplishment of helping others. Who is “Nobody”- A Toronto West initiative • Teacher’s aid program: Kits have been sent out to 19 School Boards. • Instills character enhancement and self-esteem in children. • Positive achievements; over 250 organizations have benefited by the children’s efforts since 2001. RotaryTorontoWest.ca Funding was provided by Toronto West to spearhead this highly successful program Kelly Clark created the Who is Nobody program five years ago to help young people realize their potential and become good citizens as well as good students. • www.WhoIsNobody.ca
New Basketball Court – Rathburn/East Mall A Toronto West initiative A new basketball court was designed and built to provide a healthy sports venue for less advantaged youth. Funding was provided by Toronto West for this community benefit project completed in 2006 RotaryTorontoWest.ca
