How did we do it? • Training workshop for Strategic leaders to help embed within their school • Training for 2 Health Young Ambassadors and Health deliverer through Healthy Lifestyle Coaches • Ensure teacher led not coach led for sustainability • Berkshire Health Passport to enhance school C4L to take into the home and family and link other subject areas.
How have schools developed a H&W offer? • Siblings Club – targeted families who didn’t engage within the school • Transition club for young people who didn’t engage in OSH clubs • Engagement of children who had social, behavioural, SEN needs • Children who didn’t enjoy PE and were at risk of being overweight • Buddy system/ “golden ticket” approach
