  3. INTRODUCTION In geometry,a quadrilateral is a polygon with 4sides.

  4. TYPES OF QUADRILATERAL PARALLELOGRAM KITE RHOMBUS RECTANGLE SQUARE TRAPEZIUM CYCLIC QUADRILATRAL

  5. PARALLELOGRAM • A parallelogram is a four sided plane figure that has two sets of opposites parallel sides.

  6. KITE Kite is a type of quadrilateral,4side polygon It has two pairs of equal sides. Two sides in each pair are adjacent

  7. RHOMBUS • In geometry a rhombus is a quadrilateral in which all sides are of equal length. • In any rhombus, opposite sides will be parallel. • If all angles of a rhombus are right angle,it is then a rectangle and a square.

  8. RECTANGLE In geometry, a rectangle is defined as a quadrilateral polygon in which all four angles are right angles The opposite sides are parallel, and have equal length and the diagonal bisect each other and have equal length

  9. SQUARE • OPPOSITE SIDES OF A SQUARE ARE PARELLEL AND ALL SIDES ARE EQUAL IN LENGTH. • ALL ANGLES ARE EQUAL TO 900 s Area= S or d /2. . . . 2

  10. TRAPEZIUM • In geometry a quadrilateral (a shape with four sides ) with two of its sides parallel.
