Current Short-Term Action Items Action Items (Short Term) Responsible persons • Deploy OSG and commence Tier 3 analysis in all DOSAR sites: (and also support D0 MC) - Actively participate in computing grid efforts in LHC experiments: Horst, Michael, David, Ji m • Turn on new LONI_OSG site with storage & local DQ2 Michael • Write note for setting up D0/ATLAS and CMS computing site: dosar.org Michael, Horst, Dick • Create Co-Linux OSG/CMS facility at USA (and contribute to Co-Linux documentation) Horst,Merrill • Document the Univ. New Action Items and Goals • Collaborate on improvements to HA-OSCAR – further discussions. • Collaborate on development of grid computing applications to Paleontology – further discussions. • Collaborate on ATLAS physics analyses (top quark) Dick, Pat, Jim C, Flera, Ketevi + list, Simon. • Write Lab partnership EPSCoR proposal to continue OSG software support (OU). • Create WN pool of lab computers at UJ – Stav, Francois • Organize DOSAR Workshop XI in Thailand – Yes and we will do further research on local participation and encouraging local groups to join DOSAR – Box to make a proposal • GPGPU Computing collaboration with UTA – (Amir), LTU – (Box) and UJ – (Wimpie Clarke, Andre Nel), NECSA – (Gawie Nothnagel) , group at UCT. • MoU document for DOSAR-UJ specifying DOSAR mission and projects being worked on.
