  1. CONCEJALÍA DE DEPORTES Y FESTEJOS • La Concejalía de Deportes trabaja como muchas otras administraciones publicas locales en el fomento y la promoción de la práctica deportiva. Durante los últimos años, hemos ido desarrollando nuestras políticas deportivas en torno a 3 ejes principales: • La Practica deportiva asociada al derecho a la educación. Orientada a la población escolar y dentro de un contexto educativo. • La actividad física y su relación directa con la salud y el bienestar físico y emocional • El deporte como instrumento integrador y de cohesión social entre asociaciones, clubes y ciudadanos de nuestra localidad. • Gracias a nuestro esfuerzo y perseverancia hemos conseguido desarrollar una amplia oferta de servicios, actividades y programas deportivos orientados a todos los segmentos de población. Todo esto unido a la construcción de nuevos equipamientos deportivos y remodelación de los ya existentes, han favorecido un incremento sensible en el porcentaje de población que realiza actividad física de manera continuada. • No obstante, somos conscientes de que aún queda mucho camino por recorrer. Por eso deseamos y esperamos continuar en esta línea de trabajo con el fin de beneficiar los intereses de nuestro municipio y de nuestros ciudadanos. • D.
