They lived in an area of central Italy called Tuscany. Etruscans. The Greeks thought of Etruscans as Pirates. Fibulae were first made by the Etruscans to hold up and fasten clothing together. The Etruscan soothsayers looked at the flight of birds for the future, called auspices.

They lived in an area of central Italy called Tuscany Etruscans The Greeks thought of Etruscans as Pirates Fibulae were first made by the Etruscans to hold up and fasten clothing together The Etruscan soothsayers looked at the flight of birds for the future, called auspices Etruscan pottery can be found all throughout the Mediterranean because it was so sought after They improved helmets like these by adding neck and throat guards Fasces were a symbol to show the kings power The Etruscans were very skilled in sculpture because they focused on proportion rather than glorifying their subject The Capitoline wolf is made of bronze and shows the Etruscans extreme proficiency in this field There would be Gladiatorial fights at funerals of the people that person ruled Legends says a boy by the name of Tages sprang from the earth in a field that had just been plowed The Etruscans were famous for their “magic” Etruscans were kings of Rome for along time but were thrown out The Etruscans developed the arch by having two pillars and a semi-circle with a keystone which held it all together Etruscans filled their tombs with beautiful elaborate paintings of banquets and nature scenes
