2. North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards • Standard I Teachers Demonstrate Leadership • Teachers demonstrate high ethical standards including honesty, integrity, fair treatment, and respect for others. • Teachers uphold the Code of Ethics and the Standards of Professional Conduct.
