Awareness Course on 5S Two Hours Purpose & Outcome • The purpose of this course is to explain the basic concepts of 5S and explain how these principles can lead to the improvement in PRODUCTIVITY and QUALITY of an organization. This is proposed to be achieved through incorporation of a new culture in the workplace management. • By the end of the course, participants would be able to • appreciate the use of 5S in their work area • Utilize 5S technologies for improvement in their work areas • integrate 5S methods in their daily routine activities. • initiate 5S projects in their work areas Process The course structure includes formal class room session and small group exercises. Through the above process the participants will be provided understanding of the principles of SEIRI (Re-organization), SEITON (Maintenance), SIESO (Clean up), SEIKETSU (Cleanliness) and SHITSUKE (Proper attitude). Who Should Attend ? Management personnel, Manager and Senior Supervisor who are part of the various management, production and quality functions.
