Zakatul-Fitr Zakatul-Fitr is a COMPULSORY charity distributed by Muslims TO THE NEEDY, at the end of the month of Ramadhan
Zakatul-Fitr When: Rasoolullah (pbuh) said: “Whoever gives it before the salah will have it accepted as zakah, while he who gives it after salah will not, for it will only be considered as ordinary charity”.
Zakatul-Fitr When: At the end of the month of Ramadhan. Between Ramadhan 27th and the the day of Eid just before salatul-Eid.
Zakatul-Fitr Who: Every Muslim, male or female, young or old must pay Zakatul-Fitr
Zakatul-Fitr What / How much? One sa’ (2 handfuls) of ordinary food for each member of the family, or what is equivalent to that in money

Significance of Zakatul-Fitr: Zakatul-Fitr means the contact at a time of celebration between the rich & the poor & the extremely poor. It builds real bonds of brotherhood & love within the Islamic community It trains those who have, to be generous to those who have not
