Products Sensormind Independent Living • Innovative web-based system to monitor the elderly or vulnerable • Easy and fast to install using simple wireless sensors • Base station monitors movement via the sensors • If significant or worrying change in behaviour pattern, an alert is raised via phone, or SMS • Enables elderly to remain living independently and safely at home Sensormind Care manager • Visit monitoring for Care Service Providers • Monitors staff arrival and departure times during client visits • Compares to roster, raises alert if a “no show” or significant delay • Based on same core technology as Independent Living Sensormind Personal • Personal alarm for the elderly and vulnerable • Simple pendant – press the button, an alarm is raised • Can route call to relatives or to a monitoring centre • Based on same core technology as Independent Living

Case studies Looking After Elderly Parent • Elderly mother living in apartment at rear of house in Dublin • Husband and wife frequently out of the house, at work • Wife worried about mother’s safety on her own • Husband self-installed Sensormind in less than 10 minutes – self-attaching sensors stick to wall, base station plugs into power supply • “Wife didn’t realise I had installed it because it was so fast” • Husband and wife can check web-based dashboard from work to make sure everything is okay • Carried out alarm test – they know they’ll get an alert if problem occurs Irish Private Care Provider • Private care provider, franchise organisation, multiple clients, multiple staff • Greater focus on accountability/audit trail • Need to demonstrate visits take place to Health Service Executive for public patients, relatives of private patients • Synchronised with their staff rostering system • Staff used key-fob to check in and checkout • Successful 6 month pilot deployment has just completed in North Dublin
